If you plan to use pick-up lines, use them effectively!

I was minding my own business as I was promptly waiting for my next lecture to start during my gap period. I was approached by some African American hipster and boy, I wouldn’t concentrate where I should even initiate. He was stating some form of baloney where it eventually led to how my own ears did not want to believe what he literally said. A pick-up line! He was attempting a pick-up line to get the ice going, plus the opportunity to use the excuse to meet a new gal. Alas, I lost my words at it again where I cannot seem to recall the exact pickup line it was or was it something made from the tip top of his head because he is an artsy poet? This certainly had something with me to unravel my identity by removing my shades and the blindness affecting him with the sun’s given affection. Something along those lines and I am positive that it was a WTF moment for me because this came out of the blue with some guy standing in front of my way as I was sitting on the bench.

Honestly, if you do want to use pick-up lines, you may want to find a suitable time to approach someone in a non-sleazy way. I have no spare time talking to strangers during the last few minutes of my gap who attempt to provoke my limited timeslot just to benefit yourself to having a giggle with your group of friends about a pick-up line used on a girl. I find most pick-up lines pretty cheesy to begin with because how is one line really going to get a girl to talk to you if something does not sound appropriate regarding the line you said. My initial thoughts would have me laughing my ass the entire day because some silly pick-up line that is guaranteed to work on everybody, but it usually doesn’t end up that direction and I am just laughing since it is so hilarious. Seriously, you want to flatter me with one of your best pick-up lines, buddy? Keep on having a go at your best shot and let’s see how much you can impress me. J LOL. There is one you can attempt, and if you came up to me with this one, then I am greatly captivated at your charismatic skills: “I am the Discovery Channel and you just got cabled.” If anyone knows where this came from, gosh we have something in common hahaha.
