Does anyone of you not only experience the lack of creativity via blogging, but the following thoughts below?
"Oh no! My laptop/computer frozed on me and now I can't locate my draft because I forgot to save it!
"What if I'm stealing another blogger's idea because I can't think of what else to write?"
"I feel like someone might find myself as a boring person because I don't have a mind capacity like an artsy blogger since I'm nothing like the infamous Perez Hilton"
Being an unaffliated blogger, we can possibly come into a conclusion that we all struggle with one thing---- writer's block. I abhor the thought that writer's block exists, more than I would have to dig a giant hole on my lawn just to not think about what could happen next after enduring from this blogging condition. The feeling is pure shit that you do not want to disappoint your fellow audience and neither do I because I am not that creative myself. To some extent, I will have some ideas down and narrow down to the remaining that I will blog about while leaving the others for future drafting.
I may be overthinking about this contagious condition, but it may not be as scary as you think it would be since it is probably in your head. I think it's normal to have writers block because we all have moments where we are too busy to blog because something's come up like----your dog had to go to the vet because he ate a shitload of chocolate (umm....) or you had to attend your friend's wedding, whatever excuse there may be! The real reason is that you just need to keep free writing and brainstorm some ideas down because what you will be doing for yourself is saving the time to ponder your thoughts together and figure out how you could make this work by drafting concepts down on a piece of paper/document/etc. Keep doing this until you reached the amount of words that could no longer fit onto one screen/paper and read what you just scribbled. Honestly, I like reading of something really silly I just wrote haha.
Unfortunately, no wicked scientist has ever made a cure or treatment to combat writer's block, but it is such an inevitable condition that every writer has had moments to endure while their brain fails to make the amount of cells to keep us functioning. Shit. Let's just say that writer's block is extremely normal because we've had those moments and we think that we don't want to lose creativity due to the fact that we don't want to steal someone else's idea. But hey, it is all about uniqueness... So learn to embrace it because it is your blog and you are your own boss in this gig! What are you waiting for? Just free write your words away :)
