Review: Head and Shoulders Instant Hydration VoxBox

Hello my loveys! I am back for another sponsored review and just in time, I am going to review my thoughts on this well-known shampoo brand, Head and Shoulders. I received Instant Hydration, along with their line's shampoo and conditioner. 

Their website claims that that by regular usage with their line would: 
+Get to an amazing level of hair hydration and scalp moisture with New Head & Shoulders Instant Hydration Dandruff Shampoo
+Formulated with three moisturizers to deliver a deep hydration you can feel

+Provides instant moisture to the hair and scalp

Typically, it is not my favorite shampoo brand and in a regular basis, you would probably have seen these television/media advertisements restating that this miracle brand is the absolute wonders for those who suffer from chronic dandruff. I have used Head and Shoulders before, but it is not like I use it because I would wake up to having flakes on my hair - I really do not have a dandruff issue. I guess when I do go to my local drugstore, I would always wing out the cheapest shampoo from the Health/Beauty shelf since I did not really gave a poop about shampoo. But hey, this is for testing purposes so I thought I give it a go and determine if this will be my go-to product. 

At first, the scent definitely drew me into the product because I prefer to use shampoos with a hearty appropriate aroma. I have a thing with opening hair products just to smell its scent before purchasing the product at a drugstore - am I the only one here? Their shampoo smells like a tropical breeze, perhaps like Pina Colada in an applicable manner. However, their conditioner was slightly off the chart in comparison with their shampoo. It was almost like tropical combined with melted marshmallows, and I thought it was a bit strange though I am difficult at describing anything beyond words. 

Having to use this product about five times now, I have to say that this product did not live up to my expectations and I stand by my point correctly since I know this product was not for me. I have really oily hair, and this shampoo/conditioner heading into the shower with me was not a great combination. This resulted in making my hair even greasier than it already was the next day and the lack of volume made my hair look really limp - not attractive if you are a fine-hair gal like me! This literally screamed out: "I like to bathe and wash my hair with vegetable oil and extra lard... bring me all those lipids ya'll got in store for me because I want to begin the greased-oil hair trend."  

In final words, I do not recommend this product if you have really oily hair. It will not give you that wanted volume you have always dreamed of nor will it make you feel really refreshed the day after you wash your hair. I gave this to my sister since she is the complete opposite of me, and she said it worked wonders for her thick, dry hair. Clearly, it was meant for those who needed the extra moisturizer to drink up the hydration pick-me-up. I am most likely not to be purchasing this product, but I am open to other products within this line.
