College Tip #1 : Do Not Rely on Professor's Easiness Level

I would love to write up a separate post for college students, or must I say, future freshmen of the intellectual hierarchical pyramid, based on a trip to college survival guide. Yet plenty bloggers /vloggers/authors/freelance writers have covered guidelines for what they should expect, and I don't think my word should be included out there. Unless I receive a significant number of requests that I should write one up for ya'll kitties--in words that I may and interpret some experiences I had just to let the picture tell something for itself. I think there's something I might've presumed no kitty has told another bunny yet, correct if I am wrong, but I believe you shouldn't base off an instructor's method of teaching to earn an A in the class. 

I'm speaking in terms of how straightforward the instructor is. So many students take advantage of how they think they will get away with an A as long as they don't try hard to earn the desired grade. (This is a fact if you tried to apply for courses and the class is already filled up for that matter.)  As long as students strive hard to success, then i ain't complaining, but can a really simple instructor help a student learn? I would say try to not worry about how straightforward  the instructor's methods will come across, and focus on how helpful/lucid they are. At most you learn a lot from their teaching methods, but you may gain an interest of going in further depth of the particular subject. 

I am sure you heard of Rate My Professors haven't you all... Fellow Americans? The website where we all try to look up for the best instructors out of our campus. This is where we resort our problems to... Ah yes. Even I can admit that this is what I do when I try to select my instructors. But the point is, if you do not get the desired instructor you wanted because they have a simple teaching method, then go with Plan B. Try an instructor who is thorough to their rightful discipline, meaning this instructor may be keen on punctuality or performance level.

If you ask me, I was able to cope having a difficult English instructor where students were not allowed to have 5 or more grammatical errors on their paper, hence, it becomes an automatic zero. English is not my favorite subject at all times, but I made commitment to study enough and put in the effort needed to ace the class. I also managed my time to seek tutoring to assist with my essays. Now... Did I pass the class? Heck to the yes I did! She even was fond with my research paper because I literally did 20 pages, which was beyond the maximum limit and I think she gave me an automatic A+ for that. Hehe. 

If I was capable of passing a difficult course, then so can you. I believe you do not need to rely so much to ace the class to get it over with, but seeking for a challenge will help you along the way in college. I mean there are not much shortcuts in college, is there? Unless cheating is one, but DONT CHEAT!!!!! There is no worth any risk to be sent to the Dean's and possibly be on probation. Really, you are smarter than that, though I would just say that if you don't get the instructor you want, just try a challenge where you are fulfilled to learn something rather than forget everything in the next semester to come. 

Of course, you always can call dibs for that hot instructor. ;) You can always sit in the front of the classroom just to stare at her/his seductiveness as they walk into class with that spiffy outfit. kekeke.
