Yes, you heard me right! I, Lee, had just officially joined
the so-called scholarship award club where all the cool kids get to brag all
day about winning their scholarship. Um… yeah that was quite corny. This was
the first time ever in those years I was breathing air, had I thought to
receive a scholarship from a local organization from my college. Not to mention
that I would not think of myself to even earn a scholarship because I did not
include a lot of extracurricular activities nor was I involved with
volunteering. If I ever thought I was this lucky; indeed, I am a very lucky
duck. In other words, I accept this scholarship with gratifying honor and I
intend to use this wisely because I highly need it for my academic burdens.
